The EDF Group joins Eletronorte and CHESF in Brazil for the construction of the SINOP hydroelectric dam
Rio, 12th December 2014 – EDF, through its affiliate EDF Norte Fluminense, takes a 51% participation in SINOP Energy Company (CES), in charge of constructing and operating the 400MW SINOP hydroelectric dam. This site will be based upstream of several hydroelectric structures on the Teles Pires river, in Northern Mato Grosso, Brazil (close to the city of Sinop). The two other stakeholders are EletroNorte (24.5%) and CHESF (24.5%), both holdings of Eletrobras.
Payment of an interim cash dividend of €0.57 per share for 2014 fiscal year
EDF’s Board of Directors met today under the chairmanship of Jean-Bernard Lévy, EDF Group Chief Executive Officer, and decided to pay an interim cash dividend of €0.57 per share for 2014 fiscal year.
Flamanville EPR: Schedule update
Preparatory work in connection with the project review that will take place end of November with all suppliers has shown a shift in the construction schedule. The plant is now planned to start in 2017.

EDF and Amundi set up a partnership in asset management aimed at financing energy transition
The EDF Group, a leader in low carbon energy, and Amundi, the European leader in asset management, are pleased to announce their partnership for the creation of a joint asset management company1. The prime purpose of this company will be to raise funds from institutional and retail investors and to manage on behalf of third parties funds intended to finance projects relating to energy transition.

Agreements for planned Hinkley Point C nuclear power station approved by the European Commission
The European Commission has approved the terms of agreements between EDF Group and the UK Government to build a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C in Somerset. Its decision followed a rigorous and detailed examination of the deal during a 12 month investigation led by European Commission.
EDF in Beijing for the opening of the Formula E World Championship
EDF will be in Beijing on September 12th-13th, 2014, for the first race out of ten of the Formula E 2014-2015 Championship. As Official Technical Supplier of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the EDF Group will send two experts of its R&D team to Beijing, to follow the race and conduct audits of electrical safety, transmission and charging systems and of the related procedures.
Heysham 1 nuclear power station boiler findings
One of the two reactors at Heysham 1 nuclear power station operated by EDF Energy has been shut down since 11 June for refuelling and to allow investigations to take place on one of its eight boiler units. This followed tests which took place during a period of planned maintenance and inspection in 2013.
Half-year results 2014
EDF’s Board of Directors met on 30 July 2014 under the chairmanship of Henri Proglio and approved the condensed consolidated financial statements for the half-year ending 30 June 2014.
